The petition in support of the demands of the NCFA went live on Wednesday 28 October at 4pm.

So far, 785 people have signed the petition (as at 10am on Thursday 29 October).

Help us spread the word to get more signatures - here are some ideas:

  • If you're on Facebook or Twitter share the link or retweet our call to action.
  • Have you an event coming up? Could you put a laptop with a link to the petition and encourage your audience to have a look and sign if they support?
  • Could you distribute the petition to your mailing list?
  • Have you a website - download the logos and add to your site to show your support and/or put up an entry about our Campaign and petition.

If you have other ideas just let us know and we will post.

I’m all for it.

As a teacher of Arts Administration, I will make sure my students are aware and we will share the petition.

The ‘new’ Arts Council could refurbish itself by ssat exam bringing together all these guilds into one new guild which would establish a moratorium on the quality of its members. This means only members fulfiling a specified standard could be a toefl exam member-this standard would be both technical and ethical (are they being professional in their working methods?) This would work on two levels- first, by providing individual artists with a ‘card’ that they could use to establish themselves as usmle exam working artists and which they could use internationally and also to reduce rip-offs of freelance workers by drawing up standardized contracts that they could use in various situations. As I said before, it would also mean that the wonderlic exam ‘customer’ would get a ‘guaranteed’ standard for a regulated price.
