STRUCTURE (mainly Quarter 1 activity)

Establish and induct new National Steering Committee

Continue to support and consolidate NCFA at local level e.g. local roadshows (x 6 per annum by local invitation)

Publish Constituency Co-ordinators database of contacts

Organise umbrella meetings with specific art forms e.g. visual arts sector in association with the VAI and film makers with Filmbase

Establish NCFA representation protocols

Maintain National Co-ordinator x 2 days per week
FUNDRAISING (priority activity Q1 & 2)

Fundraise to maintain National Co-ordinator x 2 days per week

Direct mail out to previous donors, all AC funding recipients, identified others

Pursue high net worth individuals

Pursue foundations to support research work

Pursue national one off event(s)

Pursue offer of fundraising help from identified parties

Be alert to and act on other fundraising opportunities

Strategically grow fundraising subcommittee – recruit people who can do peer to peer asks
RESEARCH (Ongoing)

Complete and leverage, as appropriate, Anne Bonnar/John Knell research

Pursue Central Statistics Office and other partnership research opportunities e.g. through academia, TBCT, AC etc

Provide template for local constituency research, working in association with Local Arts Officers and Constituency Co-ordinators

Pursue Arts and Education agenda by linking up with existing groups, defining an NCFA position and lobbying Minister as appropriate
LOBBYING (ongoing)

Investigate Public Reform Plan recommendations, prepare position and take action, as required

Prepare recommendations to present to Oireachtas Joint Committee on Environment, Transport, Culture and the Gaeltacht.

Continued engagement with City and County Managers Association, Association of Local Authority Arts Officers, and the Local Councillors Association etc
